At Anglia Sunshine Nursery School, we serve nutritious, well-balanced meals freshly prepared on-site by our chef. Our varied, flexible menus encourage children to explore different tastes, smells, and textures, nurturing their curiosity and fostering an appreciation for diverse cuisines and a willingness to try new foods.

We know that every child is unique, each with their own individual story and way of learning. That's why we are committed to providing a tailored experience that meets each child's specific needs.

Our commitment to providing exceptional early years education has been consistently recognised by our Ofsted Outstanding rating, which we have proudly maintained across our last three inspections.

We're also proud to be part of our local community in Sudbury. We get involved in activities such as mobile library visits, litter picking, and visiting a nearby residential home at Christmas.

The care and development of my son is brilliant.

At Anglia Sunshine Nursery School, we offer high-quality care and education for children aged 2 months to 5 years old.

Babies

At Anglia Sunshine, our baby environment includes a quiet room, a dining room, and an undercover garden, in addition to our main space.

The quiet room offers a calm, darkened environment with soothing music for peaceful naps. Come rain or shine, the undercover garden ensures that outdoor play is always an option. The dining area provides a purposeful spot for our nutritious, freshly cooked meals.

Through our thoughtfully designed environments, we support babies’ growth and development while providing a sense of security and comfort.

Toddlers

As their story begins to take shape, growing toddlers have the time and space to be more independent, discover and learn. Our toddler environments provide a home-from-home experience with light and spacious rooms and equipment tailored to their age group. The garden areas include flower beds where children enjoy planting and digging, and a reading area for story time.

Our experienced educators encourage language development too, starting with simple sounds and building to sentences.

Preschool

Our preschool rooms follow a daily routine filled with activities tailored to their interests and abilities. With their growing confidence, we prepare our preschool children for the learning journey ahead with a focus on phonics, numbers, and social skills.

By the end of their time with us, our preschoolers have developed firm friendships, and are well-prepared as independent, curious learners ready for the next chapter of their story at primary school.

Out Of School Clubs

We know that balancing all your commitments can be a challenge. Our Breakfast (from 7:30 am) and After School Club (until 6:00 pm) are here to make the daily juggle easier.
