Our garden area for babies, purpose-built wooden structure for toddlers and allotment all ensure that children can connect with nature through a variety of outdoor experiences.
Large rooms meet the needs of our babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers with inviting environments and natural resources.
Children enjoy eating healthy meals together cooked onsite by our nursery chef.
Each term we hold parents’ evenings where you’ll be able to discuss your child’s learning progression and development.
With healthy snacks and delicious fresh food cooked every day by our onsite chef using seasonal and local produce when we can, children experience new flavours and look forward to favourite dishes while older children help in our kitchen.
The team here at Blossom Tree have a wealth of early years learning insight. They know that every child is different with their own story to tell and make sure that your child learns in a way that’s right for them.
Our individual rooms encourage learning across all areas, allowing children to wonder, imagine and explore. Our free flow design quietly encourages independence and friendships and our garden ensures that all our children experience the joy of outdoor learning and play.
We’d love to meet you and your family so come and say hello, experience Blossom Tree Nursery School for yourself and begin your early years story with us.
She has come on so much since starting which is down to the caring attitude of the staff. They know when to push her to try new things but also when she needs comfort. She gets the chance to experience different activities we can’t do at home whilst also getting to continue with her favourite things like singing. The staff have been really good at noticing her likes and ensuring she gets to do these regularly. The nursery is also keen on teaching independence which is great to see. Overall we are extremely happy with the care and education Blossom Tree provide.
All the staff are incredibly friendly and always have a smile on their faces when greeting children in the morning. The transition from baby room to toddlers was handled really well with lots of visits prior so she could meet everyone. The app is great to track what your child has been doing for the day including what they have eaten and sleep times. They also give a very thorough handover at the end of each day. My daughter goes in happily and that makes me happy for the day.
She has thrived at Blossom Tree Nursery School and even has a few close friends that have moved up the rooms with her. Having the consistency of the same key worker in the baby room has really helped her transition to the toddler room. It is great to see how happy she is singing and joining in with the other children.
Our bright and welcoming baby room offers so many opportunities for sensory discovery, helping babies develop a curiosity and awareness of the world around them. Music features regularly during the day with lots of singing and signing. Children also enjoy the fun and sensory experience of water, jelly and sand play. For a gentler play experience, there’s our soft play area and our very own garden designed especially for babies.
After a busy morning of exploring and learning there’s time to rest and recharge. We know how important naps are, and make sure that when they need it, babies can rest in our special sleep room.
As their story begins to take shape, growing toddlers are given the time and space to be more independent, selecting their own toys and games.
Children make friends and learn to play alongside each other, and our educators encourage language development, starting with simple sounds and building to sentences.
Our cosy storybook corner is the perfect space to curl up and enjoy looking at books, while our special sensory room allows children to discover and explore their senses. If they need it, they can take a nap here after lunch when it becomes our calm and peaceful sleep room for toddlers.
With growing confidence and ability, we prepare our pre-school children for the learning journey ahead with a focus on phonics, numbers and social skills.
Your child’s day in our pre-school room is spent enjoying adult-led activities and free flow time between our learning areas, including our garden. Our adjoining quiet room is a place where children can read books without distraction, explore sensory objects or take a nap if they need one.
Children also spend their final year at Blossom Tree progressing their gross and fine motor skills, concentration and listening ability. By this time, they have made firm friendships, and leave us as independent and confident learners, ready for the next chapter of their own story.
Amidst all that learning, there’s plenty of time for play with games, creative activities and outdoor fun.
If children prefer some time away from the hustle and bustle, our quiet area is equipped with reading books and spaces to complete homework.
Whether it’s breakfast to start the day or a hearty meal after school, all of our nutritious food is freshly prepared daily.
