Our expansive outdoor spaces provide endless opportunities for exploration, play, and hands-on learning, making every day an adventure.
From our calming baby room to our enriched toddler areas and stimulating preschool classroom, every space is designed to inspire curiosity and school readiness.
Our friendly, inviting rooms are filled with a variety of resources, creating a cosy and engaging atmosphere where children feel safe, happy, and valued.
I have over 30 years of childcare experience, and have worked as part of our nursery team for 11 and a half years and as our Nursery Manager for 6 and a half years. I am honoured to manage a team of passionate and dedicated staff who only want the best experiences for the children in their care.
At Grantham, we are proud to play an important role in the area and our local community, working with a range of local services who provide support for families and children.
I would love you to come and see our wonderful nursery and what we can offer your children.
Children enjoy engaging cookery sessions, exploring ingredients and developing skills through hands-on fun. They also become curious about where food comes from, with opportunities to learn about growing ingredients, fostering a love for food.
Our bespoke food menus cater to various dietary requirements, ensuring every child can enjoy nutritious meals. With a wide range of meal options, we provide a diverse and inclusive dining experience that encourages healthy eating and introduces new flavors.
Our onsite chef prepares nutritious, delicious meals using locally sourced ingredients where possible. We introduce children to a variety of flavors, sparking curiosity, encouraging healthy eating habits, and fostering an appreciation for good nutrition from an early age.
At Children 1st Grantham, we love being part of a caring and connected community. Giving back is something we’re truly passionate about, which is why we’ve chosen to support Cancer Research UK. Like so many, our nursery community has been touched by cancer, including when our wonderful cook Lesley was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Thankfully, due to successful treatment Lesley is cancer-free and working hard to produce tasty, nutrtional meals for our children.
Throughout the year, we’ll be getting together for lots of fundraising activities, from bake sales and dress-up days, to sponsored challenges. One of our families is even taking on a sky dive in June in support of one of our parents who is currently undergoing treatment. Together we can make a difference to such an important cause and inspire our children to grow with kindness and generosity. We can’t wait to see what we can achieve as a community. Keep an eye out for updates on our events and how you can get involved in supporting Cancer Research UK.
Amidst all that learning, there’s plenty of time for play with games, creative activities and outdoor fun.
If children prefer some time away from the hustle and bustle, our quiet area is equipped with reading books and spaces to complete homework.
Whether it’s breakfast to start the day or a hearty meal after school, all of our nutritious food is freshly prepared daily.
