The nursery is based in a beautiful village in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside. Their ethos is to learn through play in the outdoor environment, using nature to enrich children’s imagination. This new report proves without a shadow of a doubt what an exceptional education Farley Steeple Langford is providing for their children.
Nursery Manager, Laura Boatwright said, “we are so proud to maintain the ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rating and it is the result of a huge amount of hard work from our amazing team and families.”
The inspection, which took place on 26th August, praised Laura and her team, saying:
“Children receive the best possible start to their education. Staff plan enticing activities which engage the children and extend their knowledge. Well-trained staff have created a highly ambitious curriculum for all children, including those who may have special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). All children thrive.”
The inspector also commended the children in the setting and the enabling environment that Farley Steeple Langford has created for them:
“Children spend most of their day outside exploring the extensive grounds in the fresh air. Staff have created extremely attractive areas, such as the treehouse where children use their imaginations freely.”
The report also highlighted, “Parents are happy to leave their children here to learn as they trust the experienced staff implicitly.”
